BTM Forum - Call for Elections

  • We will prioritize holding elections in the coming months, in compliance with requirements as per "Terms" on page 2 of the TOR of both GC and AC.
  • Please read the note below and review the following references :
  • Until the June 18, 2020 meeting, the BTM Forum GC and BTM AC had not met in more than one year, an exceptional situation that we had not envisioned given the major transition.
  • We are grateful to our GC and AC members who have helped the BTM Forum, and are approaching their 3-years limit for membership as per our "Terms".
  • Thanks to our Chairs for staying so far beyond the 2-years limit of their role, as they are required to be replaced.
  • We invite all academic and industry representatives, presently members, to renew their term for another 3-years.
  • We also invite all members to apply for Chair roles for both the BTM GC and the BTM AC.
  • Present Chairs will be holding a Past-Chair role, and continue coaching their respective committees and new Chairs.
  • New Vice-Chairs will be elected later to help with the growing workload of each committee.
  • Participants unanimously agreed with the election process proposal, and nominated Stéphane Gagnon as Election President, who will ask BTM Forum webmaster to configure the polling page on our portal.
